Round and around I go,
Circling in my spot,
Convincing myself that it is not a lot,
Then I decide to dream,
Of coffee with sweet cream,
Of having an umbrella in the rain,
Of realizing that it is not about loss, but about gain,
As I wonder, I decide,
That I am going along for the ride,
And not circling in my spot anymore,
But of dreaming a sweet dream,
With pleasant thoughts galore.
So the next time you decide that it is not a lot,
Please be grateful for what you’ve got.
Circling in my spot,
Convincing myself that it is not a lot,
Then I decide to dream,
Of coffee with sweet cream,
Of having an umbrella in the rain,
Of realizing that it is not about loss, but about gain,
As I wonder, I decide,
That I am going along for the ride,
And not circling in my spot anymore,
But of dreaming a sweet dream,
With pleasant thoughts galore.
So the next time you decide that it is not a lot,
Please be grateful for what you’ve got.
