There is something about Spring that has inspired poets to write for many, many years. It is the return of so much beauty in nature and a season of rebirth after the long cold period. New possibilities emerge and return along with the leaves on the trees. 

And so, we are very excited to bring you this Spring themed poetry writing challenge! ​

Join The Nostalgia Poetry Chapbook Challenge

Nostalgia is one powerful force of nature.

We all feel it, for a variety of different reasons. 

Sometimes we long to go back to the good old days, are we looking at the old days with rose-tinted glasses, or were things actually better? Who knows for sure, but the emotions often run deep. We think about our old homes, our old friends, our old lovers, the period we grew up in, obsolete items that were brand new once upon a time, and so much more. 

Nostalgia, and the meditation on it, provide a lot of good material for writing. 

Can you write 15 poems in 10 Days? A chapbook, through the nostalgic poetic lens?

​This challenge will bring you back, help you tap into those nostalgic memories, and use them as a powerful force for creativity. ​
