Alex Edwards-Bourdrez has been enjoying life in Northport, LI, with his wife, Susan, for almost three decades. Along the way he was a longtime teacher of French literature, a public relations executive, and a development officer for independent schools. He currently works in direct support with people with developmental disabilities. Alex is the publicity director and Sunday school superintendent for St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Northport, and he occasionally acts and directs in community theater.

Cristina M. R. Norcrossis the editor of the online poetry journal, Blue Heron Review, and the author of 8 poetry collections. Her latest book is Beauty in the Broken Places(Kelsay Books, 2019). Other recent collections include Amnesia and Awakenings(Local Gems Press, 2016) and Still Life Stories(Kelsay Books, 2016). Cristina’s poems have been published, or are forthcoming, in: The Ekphrastic Review,Visual Verse, Red Cedar, Your Daily Poem, Right Hand Pointing, and Pirene’s Fountain, among others. Her work also appears in numerous print anthologies. Cristina is the co-founder of Random Acts of Poetry and Art Day (celebrated annually on Feb. 20th).
